Movie theater. At 94, Clint Eastwood is still not done with cinema, despite the farewell that was predicted Cry Macho in 2021. The director returns to theaters with Juror No. 2a thrilling suspense thriller, in which Justin Kemp (played by Nicholas Hoult), selected to be part of a jury, discovers that he is (unintentionally) behind the murder he must judge.
Torn between his conscience and his duty as a juror, Justin will find himself faced with a difficult dilemma: should he denounce himself and thus call into question the trial, or keep the secret and let an innocent person pay for his involuntary crime? Throughout the film, the weight of this decision torments him.
With mastery, Clint Eastwood seizes this psychological thriller, going beyond the boundaries of the traditional trial film, and probes the dark sides of human consciousness. If the film’s start was timid in the United States, it met with much greater success in Europe where critics were already quick to see in Juror No. 2the – true – last film by Clint Eastwood.

Strong comeback
Festival. The 11th edition of the first festival in Africa and the Middle East dedicated to world Music is preparing to rock Rabat. After attracting more than 20,000 festival-goers and 1,200 professionals last year, Visa For Music is continuing its momentum with an ambitious program bringing together nearly 60 artists from 35 countries.
Now identified as a real springboard for emerging artists, this year the festival dedicates a special stage to artists from Latin America and the Caribbean, while the local scene will be represented by artists like Benny Adam, D33pSoul and Rita L’Oujdia .
Beyond the showcases, the festival, which takes place at the Mohammed V Theater and in several halls and cultural institutes in the capital, offers conferences on the music industry, masterclasses, and a professional fair.

Heritage craftsmanship
Exposition. At the end of October, a new cultural space opened its doors in the medina of Marrakech. L’Atelier Hanout, created by stylist Meriem Nour, inaugurates this place dedicated to art and crafts with an exhibition paying tribute to her mother, the embroiderer La Fatna Maaroufi.
Through archive photographs, video installations and textile pieces, the exhibition also traces the history of Moroccan fashion from the 1950s to today.
A dialogue is staged between a traditional caftan embroidered by La Fatna for her daughter and a contemporary creation by Meriem Nour, illustrating the transmission of know-how between generations.

Italian flavors
Gastronomy. Italian Cuisine Week comes to Morocco, from November 17 to 22. During the opening evening, in Rabat, Sicilian chef Sebastiano Spriveri and Piedmontese chef Dalila Salonia will combine their talents. The Week will be punctuated with workshops, exhibitions, conferences and unique tastings to celebrate the benefits of ancestral gastronomy, a true cultural heritage. From November 17 to 22 in Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakech.
Musical mixing
Spectacle. Punctuated by the melodies of Pink Martini, the musical My Beloved celebrates the universality of cultures through dance and music, ranging from Naples in the 1940s to Latin rhythms, against a backdrop of a love story. With songs performed in six different languages, the show is an ode to world dance and music.
