An improbable mix of genres that drives you crazy
Coming straight from Rotterdam, Smudged blurs the lines by mixing noise punk, angry rock, electronic pop and techno. A improbable mix of genres but which works with the fire of God!
The story of Smudged began like that of many other bands of the same genre. Childhood friendsHoogvliet and Mink Steekelenburg, the synth and electro wizard, started giving concerts without really having an overall plan.
The duo began to turn heads, enough for other fellow soulmates to join in. The cannon blasts of Victor Heijink’s bass and Jim Impelman’s stormy guitars added color and spice to the band.
Their performances live and their concerts, each time extraordinary, take place under the sign of madness and chaos. A concert not to be missed, this Sunday, still at the Narval!
Sunday at 8:30 p.m. Free entry. Le Narval, 38 quai de Caligny, 50100 Cherbourg; [email protected]
