Design and fashion will be at the 12th edition of the Montpellier Vintage Show this Saturday November 16 and Sunday November 17 at Corum.
Attention fans who are a little nostalgic for a bygone era and younger people who would like to be “trendy”. This weekend, there will be plenty to hunt around to find the accessory, the object, the item of clothing, the piece of furniture that will have that little vintage side that is timeless and above all unique.
With the 12th edition of the Montpellier Vintage Salon, this Saturday November 16 and Sunday November 17, Corum goes back in time to offer objects, furniture and other clothing that are no longer found. From the 50s to the 2000s, each decade will be more or less represented through stands, each with its own specificity. Around sixty exhibitors, mostly from the region, who will ensure diversity in choice.
Diversity and authenticity
From a simple lamp to household linen, retro glasses or a perfecto jacket, there will be something for everyone. “We find everything”, explains Audrey Quenin, who initiated the event since 2010. And the organizer specifies that the watchword of the show is “authenticity”.
It must be said that between the pieces that come back into fashion and those that remain timeless no matter what, vintage is increasingly popular. “It’s a way to both differentiate yourself but also to consume better with an ecological approach.”
A little extra this year: a retro gaming stand where video games and consoles from childhood will delight today’s forty-somethings.
Animations
To complete the stroll through the stands, the show will also offer activities with the Brick Box and its Lego®, swing dance demonstrations, face painting for children, Do it yourself workshops, photos from yesteryear… Near 4,000 visitors are expected.
