1 Lying competition
This is one of the highlights of the Gallo on stage festival. The menteries competition will pit the best “mentous” and “mentouses” of Upper Brittany against each other, during a merciless fight, with very strict rules: “It involves telling short stories, lasting 7 min, often improbable, which must seem true but which in reality are not entirely so. The whole art of the exercise consists of convincing the audience of the possible veracity of the facts…”, recalls the Qérouézée association, organizer of the event (Friday November 22 at 7 p.m., Bréhand village hall; small catering and musical entertainment by the Kerouez duo; price: €6; reservation strongly recommended).
2 At the heart of the investigation
New for 2024, a life-size treasure hunt 100% in Gallo will stir the brains of the finest sleuths, launched into the heart of this interactive investigation, which takes place at the port of Légué, in Saint-Brieuc. “The visitor is immersed in the 1920s, in an artistic plot in Central Brittany. The central character is Jeanne, a young photographer whose work has been stolen. Gradually, we meet his fine arts teacher, the boss of the newspaper Le Petit Libéral, a spinner friend… An investigation with many twists and turns! », promise the organizers (Saturday November 23, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the port of Légué, Bélem hall; by teams of two to four players, free; duration of the game: approximately 1 hour 15 minutes; accessible to young people public, from 10 years old, even little initiated in Gallo).
