Under the Silver Tree, Viro Major, CoBra… Our essential exhibitions!

At the Loft Gallery in Marrakech, Amina Agueznay is offering, until January 2, 2025, an immersive experience under the direction of Meriem Berrada. “Field Works” occupies two levels, each space inviting remarkable sensory exploration. Against a backdrop of Moroccan traditions, Agueznay magnifies wool, wood and other materials, creating a textured universe where craftsmanship mixes with a contemporary vision. On the ground floor, the monumental installation “Waha”, a reinterpretation of “Wainscot”, fascinates with its 300 kg of wool and offers a contemplative refuge. Upstairs, the artist reveals his archives, retracing his travels in the rural regions of Morocco and his exchanges with artisans.

Under the Silver Tree

At the MCC Gallery in Marrakech, Mo Baala sensitively explores the reality of street children. In a series of collages, textiles and installations, he illustrates the brutality and hope of a complex everyday life. Each work captures fragments of life, oscillating between pain and resilience. The performances add a poignant intensity, encouraging the visitor to share a moment in the life of these often invisible young people. Mo Baala leads us to rethink our perceptions of marginality in a human and essential exhibition.

Major man

The viewer is invited to experience a fluid, almost living light, which accompanies a reflection on our own perception.
