“How did your somewhat atypical meeting with Akhenaten come about?
With my partners, we organize masterclasses to introduce people to freediving. And it works very well. And with the press agency I work with, we said to ourselves that it would be good for me to speak to personalities to introduce them to my world while providing knowledge about the marine environment, with the aim of their open your eyes to what is happening underwater.
For the first, knowing that the filming would be in Marseille, I wanted a character from the city. When I arrived in Marseille, it was in the 90s. And at the time, I was influenced by the music of IAM. So I thought of this group for this premiere and in particular of Akhenaton. We contacted him and he accepted the project. We were proud because “the animal” is difficult to capture due to a very busy schedule.
