For its 35 years of laughter, the Martinican group Trio Téat celebrates its 35th anniversary “at home”

To celebrate its 35th anniversary, the famous Martinican comedy group Trio Téat returns “home” to the Teyat otonom mawon (Maroon Autonomous Theater – TOM) with its play RHOMANTIC.COM, which marked the last Fort-de- Festival. From November 12 to 16 at 7:30 p.m., the public is invited to rediscover their humor.

The Trio Téat comedy troupe is celebrating 35 years of laughter, sharing and Martinican scenes. And to mark this anniversary, the group returns to where it all began: to the Otonom Marron Theater (TOM). From this Tuesday, November 12, the actors will perform “RHOMANTIC.COM”, a play acclaimed during the 53rd Fort-de-France Festival.

For Nestor Mijéré, one of the founding members, this return to TOM is a tribute to the beginnings of the troupe and its values.

We have faith in what we do. We try to be rigorous, serious in our work. The Trio Téat was founded on good foundations.

With its family-friendly and inclusive humor, the Trio Téat attracts a wide audience.

We don’t go below the belt. We try to make people laugh, whoever the person is, so that everyone can come with their son or daughter to see the play. We want to be sure not to disappoint anyone.

The play RHOMANTIC.COM, which will be performed five consecutive evenings, offers fine and accessible humor, in a style dear to the troupe. The people of are thus invited to rediscover this institution of laughter, both to celebrate this wonderful anniversary and to rediscover a play which won over the public during its first performances.

An anniversary which marks a turning point for the Trio Téat, which promises to continue to “to make people laugh, to laugh again, to laugh always”true to its slogan.
