The CCAS of Divatte-sur- is offering a theatrical performance around addictions on Thursday, November 14. We wanted to deliver a project on the prevention of addictions in our daily lives to raise awareness and awaken people to the place they occupy, explains Mélissa Achour, from the CCAS solidarity service. Addictions affect many people. Not everyone is necessarily aware of their possible problem.

Registered as a fun educational tool

To illustrate the point, the municipality invited the Theater Improvisation League (Lina). This theatrical formula, used as a fun educational tool, will allow realistic situations to be addressed in an imaginary context. The performance will be free and will be open to all audiences.

On stage, three actors will improvise on the theme of addictive behaviors: alcohol, tobacco, drugs, screens, video games, social networks, games of chance, shopping, medications, sex… It will be about addressing these questions in an offbeat, funny, absurd, poetic way, explains Marine Bertotti, production manager at the Improvisation League. The audience will truly be co-authors of the show, by writing down phrases at the start of the performance which will then be played by the artists.

Thursday November 14, at 7:30 p.m., at the Jacques-Demy space 11, rue du Stade. Free entry and open to all. Information from the CCAS: [email protected] and 02 40 33 34 06.
