Nearly forty associations, offering various activities, participated in Festiv’Assos, Saturday June 15, in the heart of the La Source district in Orléans.
It has become an unmissable event for community stakeholders and residents of the La Source district in Orléans. Festiv’Assos, the festive meeting of associations, is an event that has now been going on for ten years.
This is why, on Saturday June 15, to celebrate this moment, a large fake cake was installed in the center of Place Ernest-Renan.

From 11 a.m. on Saturday, nearly forty Orléans associations were set up on this square in the heart of La Source for Festiv’Assos, this major event which allows the local associative fabric to present its activities, but also, to some, to offer initiations and live entertainment.
All cultures were present, like here an oud player.
Sport, culture, dance, leisure, social, employment, health, solidarity… the offer is varied. And to introduce families to as many associations as possible, a game has been set up. Nothing better to arouse children’s interest. The rule is simple: equipped with a “passport”, everyone will have to answer knowledge questions about the participating associations or the La Source district. After ten boxes have been validated, a prize is won.
