After the undeniable success of its documentary “Kaïzen”, Inoxtag is embarking on another challenge. The YouTuber with more than 8 million subscribers announced this Saturday on X the release, on November 21, of his manga entitled “Instinct”.
The book is now available for pre-order, he also specified, in a post accompanied by a video which serves as a trailer.
The manga, in several volumes, will tell the story of Haki, a 19-year-old young man with the ability to perceive the intentions of the people around him. “This is what sentenced me to death,” the character says in the trailer.
« Say Shonen (type of manga aimed at a young audience) original is a true work of fiction reflecting a part of his personality, in the continuity of his creative quest, mixing Japanese influences and epic stories. If it is not strictly speaking the story of Inox, the narration is clearly inspired by its universe, its values”, explain the publishing house Michel Lafon – which publishes the book – and Webedia – the agency where the influencer is signed – in a joint press release.
It is also indicated that the project was done in collaboration with Charles Compain, co-author and illustrator.
“In addition to its original videos, Inoxtag has long had a passion for manga (…). Today, Inoxtag is making a new dream come true by embarking on the creation of its own manga (…). A project dating from before Everest and which he continued to develop throughout this adventure,” we read again. The book is sold at the price of 11.95 euros.
