After summer fever, Lacanau swaps surfboards for books. For the first time, the ocean city has decided to highlight local and regional authors, through a show that aims to be eclectic in its offering to bring together all generations. Comics, novels and detective novels are thus offered.

Cromwell is offering a graphic exhibition entitled “For Adults” from November 8 to 30 at the Lescours room in Lacanau ocean this time. A great opportunity to discover its universe where futurism, history and popular myth mix, all carried by an innovative and subversive discourse.
The famous cartoonist of the southwest and the chained duck, Urbs, is also invited. He brings his touch of impertinence to this first Lacanau book fair which aims to be resolutely eclectic through a cross-interview with Cromwell, Saturday afternoon.
Literature is an opportunity to understand the world around us, whether near or far. Eric Audinet from Confluens editions hosts a conference bringing together Christian Coulon, professor emeritus at Sciences Po, specialist in Africa and the Muslim world, and Régine Ardilley, ambassador for wildlife and the Médoquin Occitan spoken word.
The show takes place in the village hall of the seaside town. It ends with a concert open to all and continues with an exhibition for a month.
