Rollerblades, music, joy and solidarity: this is the great program of the new edition of the Big Partywhich takes place this Friday, November 8, 2024, at the CCN in Caen (Calvados).
Good humor and second degree
For its highly anticipated return to the Caen Choreographic Center in Normandy, the Big Party is displayed in the colors of the 90s. On the program: baggy and fluorescent, tuning and ghetto blaster will set the tone for a 100% energizing evening.
Once again revamped by the visual artist Nicolas Maalouly, the CCN will welcome the whimsical singer Michel Hubert, who will spread his good humor and his irresistible second degree during a fun electro-concert.
Unpredictable and versatile, his imagination is limitless. Only one watchword with him: the Fiesta! King of the show, he stages his pieces using unique sets and costumes.
A roller derby performance
The evening will then move to the Halle aux granges, for a unique performance by Katerina Andreou designed with the players of the Roller Derby Caen.
The Greek choreographer will also offer a new version of her performance Rave to Lament, a tribute to the golden age of rave culture in the 90s, with a tuned car.
Then, Nizar, incandescent DJ of Parisian nights seen at the Flash Cocotte and to the Gaité Lyriquewill make us dance and vibrate until the heart of the night. “He is a strong advocate for diversity and self-expression. His eclectic style, mixing house, techno and pop influences, creates festive atmospheres where everyone feels free to be themselves. »
