Princess Alexandra of Hanover, the youngest of Princess Caroline’s four children, usually appears in the front row at fashion shows in Paris and at formal evenings on the French Riviera. Having just graduated in literature and history from the American University of Reid Hall, located in Paris, the niece of Prince Albert II of Monaco, also lives a life similar to that of all young women of her age. Surprisingly, only some 5,500 subscribers to her Instagram account perceive this side of Alexandra’s life.

Stripped of her jewelry and dressed in jeans and sneakers, the 25-year-old princess regularly publishes photos of herself and her daily life. Princess Alexandra is particularly fond of selfies which allow her to capture moments of life among her loved ones. This week, the Duke of Brunswick’s daughter took a car selfie with her longtime partner, Ben-Sylvester Strautmann, behind the wheel of his car. A few days ago, Princess Alexandra also shared photos of her graduation ceremony to mark this page which has just turned in her life.

Princess Caroline’s daughter shares her daily life on her Instagram account
On her social networks, Princess Alexandra also shares photos of her dachshund, simply named Eloise von Lexington, who also has her own Instagram account. We also discover his latest favorite books, his restaurant dinners and some photos from his travels. This week, Princess Alexandra posted another family selfie with her sister-in-law, Princess Alessandra, nicknamed Sassa. Sassa is the wife of Prince Christian, the second son of Prince Ernst August and the half-brother of Princess Alexandra.
Princess Alexandra was born on July 20, 1999. She is the only child of the marriage of Prince Ernst August of Hanover, Duke of Brunswick, and Princess Caroline of Monaco. Previously, his father had already had two sons, Hereditary Prince Ernst August and Prince Christian. His mother had three children from her previous marriage: Andrea, Charlotte and Pierre Casiraghi. Prince Ernst August is the current head of the Hanoverian royal family, descendant of the kings of Hanover and Great Britain. Over the centuries, the family has ruled over various territories in the Hanoverian region and more recently over the Duchy of Brunswick. The last sovereign to reign over the Duchy of Brunswick was Duke Ernest-Auguste, great-grandfather of Princess Alexandra. Princess Alexandra is also in 13th position in the order of succession to the Monegasque throne.
