Marie Loret, interior architect, scenographer and designer, created Made in Diva in 2011 in Marrakech. After training alongside Jacques Deletraz, interior decorator and master cabinetmaker – “he will remain my master, he brought out in me the taste, proportions and technique which are the pillars of my profession” – and a long career as an independent interior designer in France, she settled in Marrakech. His first big playground in the ocher city was The Source hotel, which everyone knows.
A true reference in the world of interior architecture with its colorful and eccentric universe, or soft and always singular, it manages to breathe a unique soul into each space it touches. Its showroom, a large loft and living gallery, could be a museum as it is full of fascinating discoveries. For this “interior provocateur”, who made herself known by choosing to let herself be guided against the current of the ambient wave, creativity is born from encounters.
It thus gives space to treasure hunters for the vintage side, and for the art side, artists who are dear to her: the sculptor Khalid Darnaoud, the visual artist Isabelle Renou, the painter Mona with her vibrant portraits, the portrait photographer Sandra, The Emotion Capteuse, the graphic designer P’artiste Morgane Lloret, and other surprises to come. Everyone takes up space to express their talents. Marie, surrounded by her daughters Léonore and Morgane, brings a unique touch to her projects, thus enriching her scenographic, architectural and design achievements.
More than an exhibition and sales space, the Loft is a warm place, a cabinet of curiosities where creativity and emotion meet to give life to unforgettable environments.
