The artist Christine Blaney and her students present Sortilège, a painting exhibition where mystery, magic and creativity combine. The works embellish the walls of the L’aquilon room of the Municipal Library of Sept-Îles until November 30.

Around forty students of all ages and the artist devoted an entire year to exploring the fascinating theme of magic: magical creatures, imaginary animals, the third eye… In this new exhibition, white magic and black magic oppose each other , offering works that are as captivating as they are surprising.

Septilienne Christine Blaney has distinguished herself for more than 20 years in the field of visual arts. After pursuing photography as a profession, she is now embarking on a new career as a professional painter.

The transmission of the arts being a natural vocation, she shares her passion through painting workshops where the students evolve at the same time as herself, assisting in her creative process while exploring different techniques and mediums.
