Daniela Pinto and Nico Capone shared the big news on their respective Instagram accounts: the Vaudois content creators with more than 40 million subscribers are expecting their second child! “Everything is going very well at the moment, and we took some time before communicating it. It wasn’t calculated, but we had also launched the series “The Capones are expecting a baby” (broadcast on W9 on October 31) and we didn’t want the announcements to go over each other. So finally, sharing the news only now is obvious,” says Daniela on the phone, whose tone suggests that she is speaking with a smile on her mouth.
Nico, for his part, admits that keeping the secret was not easy: “It was complicated. Even for the family, we waited a long time to announce it… While the belly was starting to show little by little.” The baby’s arrival is scheduled for next spring, and they will know in two weeks if they are expecting a little brother or sister for their 5-year-old son Mattia.
Daniela confides that the start of pregnancy was not easy: “A lot of nausea and vomiting… but it’s okay, I’m holding on. We experience the second pregnancy a little differently.” She also reveals that she still wants to climb Mont Blanc, which she has postponed until next year. “After giving birth, no sport for a month. We’ll see how things evolve afterwards,” she says optimistically.
Mattia, their eldest son, is also “happy” with the news. “We’re on the road a lot, and he comes with us most of the time. There, he will no longer be alone,” says Daniela.
As for the separation rumors circulating in the press, Daniela responds bluntly: “We never responded to the rumors. Unfortunately, they will always exist. When you are known, publicized, it is part of the job. So we never react to rumors, and although sometimes it might silence them, there will always be some.”
She adds: “Today we stand together, and that is our strength. I hope it continues like this. Expanding the family is always a source of happiness and positivity. Our priority remains, of course, Mattia, and we want him to participate in this project as well. When you have a little boy, you have to explain a lot of things to him: why mom has ups and downs, why dad is sometimes stressed or worried.”
And what’s next? Nico Capone concludes: “We adapt, we improvise. We would like to write a film. For the moment, we’re just happy.”
