James Van Der Beek diagnosed with colorectal cancer

For several years now, TV and cinema personalities have no longer hesitated to reveal that they are ill. Jean-Pierre Pernaut, Florent Pagny, Michel Cymes, Émilie Dequenne, Kate Middleton, Caroline Receveur and even Patrick Sébastien have revealed that they suffer from cancer. But sometimes, some are taken by surprise by the press. This is the case of James Van Der Beek.

This Sunday, November 3, the American site TMZ revealed that the actor, known for his role in Dawson has colorectal cancer. Following the publication of this article, James Van Der Beek made a point of posting a long message on his Instagram account to explain his silence.

In his message, this 47-year-old father of six does not reveal how long he has been suffering from his cancer. “I have dealt with this privately until now, undergoing treatment and focusing on my health more carefully than ever before. I'm in a good situation and I feel strong. It was a real initiation, and I will tell you more when I am ready”he only clarified.
