Saint-Céré. Entertaining conference on the links between sport and politics

For its eighth edition, Résurgence is working in concert with local sports associations and clubs around an edition focused on the link between contemporary art and sport: “Sportive Attitude”.

The festival is inspired by Roger Couderc, a famous sports commentator from Souillac who made rugby shine. On the occasion of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, now is the time to promote the values that link art and sport: passion, fervor, perseverance, inclusion, the spirit of team, surpassing oneself, fair play…

Conference and music

It is in this context that Antonin Boccara will host a conference between sport and politics on Saturday November 9 at 6:30 p.m., at the Saint-Céré association house. A unique opportunity to discover the underside of sport through an original and participatory approach! Small anecdotes, big consequences: when sport and politics meet.

As part of the Résurgence festival, Antonin Boccara, author of board games and sports enthusiast, will host this conference entitled “Small anecdotes, big consequences”.

This meeting, both fun and musical, will explore the sometimes unexpected links between sport and politics through fascinating anecdotes from the world’s biggest sporting competitions.

Discovery of a game

Antonin Boccara, known for his ability to make these themes accessible and entertaining, will offer a series of surprising stories that show how sporting events have had repercussions far beyond the playing fields.
