Together, we have always had the ambition to support emerging art and promote the talent of our Moroccan youth.”.
This exhibition is part of a vibrant and promising theme: that of “ generation“. A new generation, a creative generation, embodied by these young artists to whom the CDG foundation gives carte blanche, a space of freedom to express all their inventiveness and sensitivity.
Through this exhibition, reveals the CEO of the foundation, the Espace Expressions CDG is transformed into a meeting place, an artistic crossroads where the works exhibited reveal the richness and diversity of the mediums and techniques taught at INBA. Painting, sculpture, comics, design… each work bears witness to the unique journey of these artists and the incredible creative potential that they embody.
Impressed by the attachment of young talents to Moroccan traditions, Wafaa Naim El Idrissi is delighted: “we have the chance to discover works that not only reflect the raw talent of these young people, but also carry a deep message, rooted in our heritage and culture”. The artists appropriate recycled materials, bringing an ecological and committed dimension to their work, and invite visitors to rediscover Amazigh culture and the richness of Moroccan craftsmanship, revisited from a modern and innovative perspective.
This exhibition is not only a tribute to art, it also represents a strong commitment from the CDG Foundation to younger generations. Its support for artistic development is intended to be an act of responsibility, a contribution to the development of young talents and the construction of a society where art plays an essential role.
Through this initiative, the CDG is honoring nine promising artists. “Their talent, their audacity and their vision for the future mark the beginning of an adventure that we hope will be long and prosperous for each of them. We wish them to find the success they deserve and to shine on the national and international artistic scene.”, concludes our interlocutor.
Long-time partner, INBA of Tetouan was part of this celebration. Mehdi Zouak, director at INBA in Tetouan, expresses his gratitude: “A big thank you to the CDG Foundation for its valuable collaboration and for offering these young INBA graduates a platform in this professional artistic space that is the Espace Expressions CDG. We are convinced that this beautiful gallery will constitute a real springboard for these young artists, allowing them to make themselves known and share their talent with the public. By offering them this carte blanche, we give them the opportunity to express themselves freely and show all the creative potential they have to offer.”.
This exhibition is remarkably varied, with works that explore the vast field of visual arts, notably through paintings and installations. But it doesn’t stop there. It also highlights the visual narrative arts, with particular attention paid to comics, a booming sector of great creative wealth. INBA is proud to present the best experiences of its students, who, thanks to its unique Visual Narrative Art department in Africa, specialize in fields as diverse as cartoons, video games, illustration and scenario.
In addition, adds Mehdi Zouak, we also have works that illustrate design in all its forms, whether it is the design of objects, real estate spaces or graphic creation. “These disciplines are essential for the training of innovative and visionary young professionals, capable of transforming the artistic and cultural landscape of our country.”, he reiterates.
In detail, he reveals that through this initiative, “we are honoring nine winners who are the very expression of the novelty and creativity that we cultivate at INBA. Each of them represents the future of our artistic scene, and I am convinced that their talent will prevail”.
