In the final stretch, Kamala Harris can count on extraordinary support: that of the Avengers. In a video posted Thursday by actor Robert Downey Jr, several Marvel superhero performers support Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, a few days before the November 5 presidential election.

In the video, Scarlett Johansson, who plays Black Widow, calls the other stars of the franchise on video to find a slogan for the candidate. Paul Bettany (Vision), but also Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Don Cheadle (Colonel James Rhodes), Chris Evans (Captain America), Danai Gurira (Okoye), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), who shared the poster of Avengers : Endgame in 2019, answer the call.

“Scarlett, it’s an honor to come together to encourage people to vote,” says Danai Gurira, before starting the brainstorming session. Several ideas are floating around, including “Kamala Forever”, a nod to “Wakanda Forever”, a slogan found in Black Panther, another Marvel film. The Avengers finally make their choice on “I’m Kamala Harris and I’m dead for democracy.”

This humorous video is the latest support from Hollywood stars for Kamala Harris. She can already count on the voices of Julia Roberts, Jane Fonda and Leonardo DiCaprio. Donald Trump, for his part, received the support of Zachary Levi, the star of the fantasy comedy Shazam!
