Here is the work from Voyage à Nantes that left the biggest impression on you

The result is not really a surprise, as this “Rideau”, one of the works from the Voyage à Nantes (VAN), also impressed us. It was part of a list of ten works that we had chosen to question our readers, on the one which had marked them the most since the first edition of the summer festival in 2012.

It is therefore the water curtain on the Graslin theater which comes in first position in this survey. Out of 435 participants, 157 voted for this work, which flowed into a pool at the foot of the columns. It was one of the flagship installations of the 2020 edition, and which partly operated at night.

In second position, arrives the boat in the fountain of Place Royale in 2021, entitled The Sinking of Neptunewith 91 voters.

Then on the podium, chosen by 63 people, the slide at the Château des Ducs de Bretagne, or Slipped landscape. It was installed during the 2017 edition of the VAN, but remained until September 12, 2021.

A hand carved from redwood, a half-man, half-plant palm, a wooden giant… Placed under the theme of trees, the artistic journey of Voyage à Nantes will be very green this summer 2024 and will highlight the remarkable natural heritage of Nantes or will reinterpret it, from July 6 to September 8.
