The 31-year-old Marseille rapper will release the third opus of the album series JVLIVS started in 2018, eight weeks after the fatal shooting which targeted those around him.
Two months almost to the day after the Grande-Motte shooting which targeted relatives of SCH and a few weeks after his return to the stage, the Marseille rapper announced JVLIVS : At the end a new album performed solo. It had been several years since the artist, with nearly 4 million listeners per month on Spotify, had been planning the release of the third opus in his series of albums started with JVLIVS : Tome 1 – Absolute in 2018, then JVLIVS II in 2021. On May 31, Julien Schwarzer in the city, fed his many fans, JVLIVS Prequel : Julius, a set of pieces which revealed a little of his sources of inspiration.
In a short video published on the social networks Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), SCH communicated the opening date for pre-orders of JVLIVS: To the endas well as the publication of the first track of the album, Stigmata. « See you on October 30 at 6 p.m. »he wrote on X. In this extract, we can see the 31-year-old rapper lying in a fountain of blood, as well as the logo of his label « Red Baron House ». « We have decided to maintain the release of JVLIVS III : AD Finem with the universe that we had been thinking about for two and a half years, it was close to our hearts »he added on Instagram.

SCH, the indirect target of a shooting?
This new album was released when the Marseille rapper’s team was targeted by Kalashnikov shots in La Grande-Motte on August 26, a few hundred meters from the La Dune Club nightclub, where SCH had just performed. The artist had returned to his hotel room before this attack which took place around 6 a.m. A relative of the rapper was shot twice in the chest and then died of his injuries. The driver of the vehicle was seriously injured. Last September, the trail of an extortion attempt orchestrated by the Marseille DZ Mafia clan was favored by investigators. Visibly shocked by this tragedy, SCH then decided to cancel its appearance at the Delta Festival in Marseille as well as at the Francofolies de la Réunion on September 4 and 6. But following the adage of artists, «the show must go on»he decided to return to the stage ten days later, on September 13, on the occasion of the Fête de l’Humanité in Brétigny-sur-Orge. The Marseille rapper will soon start his stadium tour, JVLIVS Tour 2024, with a first date on December 6 at the Zénith Europe in Strasbourg. He will be at the Accor Arena in Paris on December 9 and 10.
