The trestles installed on the square in front of the cultural center set the tone. This week, the event was significant for the cultural life of Bressols, and more generally that of the department. The Eidos association celebrated its 30th anniversary, a symbolic milestone for this entity created in 1994, in Montauban, and which offers cultural action that takes root in cinema.

Indoor and outdoor sessions during the summer, but also image education activities and festivals, here, all the arts come together. “It’s a truly exceptional day, and I think of all the members who contributed to the success of our proposals, especially those who have left us,” analyzed President Jean-Michel Anselmi with emotion. Since 2015, the association has been based here, at the Muse, in privileged premises. “We must become aware of the impact of your actions, and I encourage you to continue these great initiatives,” said Mayor Jean-Louis Ibres. With a case in her hands, MP Valérie Rabault wisely stepped forward to speak: “What pride to see your collective success. I admire the progress you have made and all the possibilities offered by your programming.” By mentioning Jean-Luc Godard, the MP shared her passion for cinema. “He said that when we go to the cinema, we raise our heads, which is why, with the department, we are increasing initiatives in colleges,” recounted the elected official. Under this red canopy of lights, the association received the medal from the National Assembly. In a moving projection, with recognition and lucidity, we can say to ourselves that it is deserved.
