Amaury de Gonzague makes you cry with laughter

Wednesday October 16, as part of the “Festi Plume” festival, Amaury Gonzague seduced the public with his vibrant and colorful one-man show. This show traces with humor the story of a ruined aristocrat, forced to settle in a campsite and find a job, confronted with modern realities. The contrast between his aristocratic background and the challenges of everyday life brought constant laughter from the room.

Although his parents did not come from an artistic background, Amaury de Gonzague has been immersed in the world of entertainment since his childhood. He wonderfully exploits the discrepancies between his aristocratic character and an era that he does not master, playing brilliantly on misunderstandings and sustained language which sometimes leads to confusion. The audience was won over by his dynamic stage performance and his witty lines.

Collaborator of the comedian Smaïn, Amaury de Gonzague is a regular on major Parisian stages, such as those of the cabarets “Le Don Camilo”, “La main au basket” and “Le César Palace”, where he continues to make people laugh with his unique character of an aristocrat overwhelmed by the modern world.

With undeniable talent, Amaury made the spectators participate, mixing derision and misunderstandings, linking up absurd situations. “I cried laughing,” confides a spectator. Another adds: “it feels good to laugh, we find the cabaret spirit, it changes a little”.

Faithful to his character of Amaury Gonzague from Chardon Quiquette, despite his imaginary origins, the artist made the audience laugh out loud throughout this memorable evening. “Festi Plume is in full swing, to the delight of theater lovers.”

  • A few free seats but the spectators present were delighted with their evening full of laughter.
