Two of the most popular series of the start of the millennium will meet. Sophia Bush, the actress who played Brooke Davis in the series The Scott Brothers will join the cast of Grey’s Anatomythe medical series that has been broadcast for two decades.

According to the American media Variety in an article from this Wednesday, October 16, Sophia Bush joins the 21st season of the medical series broadcast on ABC for a recurring role.

Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital is preparing to expand its team with the arrival of a new surgeon in the person of Dr. Cass Beckman. This trauma specialist is described as friendly, fun, and a little messy around the edges.

It is on November 7 on the ABC channel that the actress will make her introduction in the 6th episode of season 21. This is not the first time that Sophia Bush has interfered in the medical world. In 2022, she produced and starred in the series Good Sam on the CBS channel where she plays an acting hospital chief. She also starred in the series Chicago Meda classic of the hospital series.

Alongside her activities as a surgeon in Grey’s AnatomySophia Bush has not been idle since she is working on the return of Scott Brothers on behalf of Netflix. In addition to reprising the role that made her known as Brooke Davis, she is producing this sequel alongside Hilarie Burton, who played Peyton Sawyer, her best friend in the series. The actress announced the news last August on her Instagram account.
