Iconic presenter of the cult show Taratata on France 2, Nagui will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the program on the Bercy stage, alongside 70 artists. This exceptional number will be broadcast on Friday October 25, 2024 in prime time on the public channel. “A fiery show with explosive live performances. For four decades, Bercy has been the scene of the greatest musical, sporting and cultural moments. These are 40 years of emotions, shows, laughter, music… For this occasion, Taratata, the most famous musical program hosted by Nagui, brings together 3 hours of non-stop music nearly 70 artists with 50 titles! Taratata has brought together a constellation of renowned artists who have all made Bercy and invite artists who will make Bercy!“, notably indicated France 2 in a press release.
As part of the promotion of this special show, Nagui was on the set of the talk show C to you Wednesday October 16, 2024 on France 5. That day, the host of Don’t forget the lyrics revealed that he had made the decision to no longer invite a huge star of French song within its program. In fact, Nagui never again invited Michel Sardou to Taratata after his one and only appearance on the show. “I can tell you something, he came once in Taratataand it will no longer be possible“, first underlined the host. “We didn’t really get along very well. (…) I don’t discuss the career, the singer or the talent but it seems normal to me to say to someone: ‘Welcome’ and to mean it. Michel Sardou, who recently made his farewell tourwill therefore not appear in the list of 70 artists who will perform on the Bercy stage for the 40th anniversary of Taratata. This special broadcast will also be an opportunity for Nagui to help a cause that is particularly close to his heart. “More than an anniversary concert, this event contributes to an essential cause: the fight against cancer since all the profits collected are for the benefit of the Foundation for Medical Research (FRM)“, France 2 precisely specified in its press release.
