An investigation is opened after a serious accident took place in Studio Gabriel which hosts the show “Vivement Dimanche”.

A court decision was taken following a serious accident which took place in the studio on August 26. A technician working for “ Looking forward to Sunday » fell ten meters. The experienced machinist was seriously injured, and was in a coma for several weeks. He is still hospitalized, according to our colleagues.

An investigation was opened to determine responsibility. She is in charge of the 8th arrondissement police station and the labor inspectorate. It directly targets Michel Drucker since he is president of the company SGPM, which takes care of Studio Gabriel. The company employed the victim under a one-day fixed-term contract.

Mediapart reports that the first malfunctions were noted, in particular the absence of guardrails around the pit or even protective barriers. There were also no safety harnesses for the technicians.
