The Domaine du Palais-Royal, in the center of Paris, hosts monumental works of contemporary art, on the occasion of the Art Basel Paris fair. Come admire them for free from October 15 to 26, 2024.
Art lovers are celebrating in Paris: throughout the year, different events allow us to discover new artists, enjoy the region’s museums and art galleries, or have fun with various cultural events. Every fall, lovers ofcontemporary art find a big special meeting.
The fair Art Basel Paris is back for a third edition at Grand Palacefrom October 18 to 20, 2024. This show brings together art galleries from all over the world for an entire weekend. But not only that! The fair also extends outside the walls of the monument, with an artistic program to discover throughout Paris.
Of the expositionsof the installations or performances are organized in emblematic places of the capital, such as the Hôtel de la Marine, the Eugène Delacroix museum, the square of the Institut de France, the Palais d’Iéna… This year, the Domaine du Palais-Royal also joins this celebration of contemporary art.
The Domaine is located between the Louvre Museum, the Comédie-Française and the Palais-Royal theater. In the heart of Paris, the garden houses several works, including a monumental installation by Daniel Buren. From October 15 to 26, 2024, news sculptures are installed in this Estate, on the occasion of the Art Basel Paris fair.
Nearly tencontemporary works are exhibited this fall, some well-known, such as the Thumb of the artist César, others more confidential, such as the spiritual and tribal totems imagined by Roberto Sebastian Matta.
