Kanye West’s former assistant, who had already filed a complaint against him for unfair dismissal and sexual violence, now accuses him of sexual assault.
After accusations of sexual assault and sex trafficking against rapper and producer P.Diddy, it is Kanye West’s turn to be accused of sexual assault. A former assistant between 2021 and 2022, Lauren Pisciotta, accuses him of having drugged her then sexually assaulted her during a P.Diddy party, in a studio in Santa Monica. A complaint was filed on October 8 in Los Angeles County Court.
Sexual assault and chemical submission?
The latter would have started to feel unwell after an assistant, on Kanye West’s orders, served her a glass of alcohol, mixed “with an unidentifiable drug”, she specifies. The facts date back to 2021. The next morning, the artist’s ex-assistant woke up without any memory of the day before, “disoriented” and “less in control of her body and her speech”. She said she felt “physically ill, confused”, and “ashamed” of not being able to remember what happened the day before.
The awareness of Kanye West’s ex-assistant and above all, her speaking out more than three years after the alleged facts would have been triggered, as indicated in Les Inrocks, by a conversation where the rapper would have indicated to her that they had slept together. Naked against her while “sticking his penis on her face”
According to information from People media, Lauren Pisciotta had already turned to justice, earlier in 2021, for unfair dismissal against Kanye West. She claimed to have been subjected to pornographic photos and videos and that he had masturbated in front of her on a plane. Accusations refuted by a legal representative of the rapper.
The October 8 complaint filed by Lauren Pisciotta also mentions other elements. In July 2021, the rapper allegedly knocked insistently on his room door at around 6 a.m., in a San Francisco hotel to take a shower because his was not in working order. Kanye West allegedly “dropped his towel” while leaving the sidelines, then pressed himself naked against her and “stuck his penis in her face” while she begged him to stop. The rapper reportedly apologized before leaving the hotel. Today, Kanye West’s ex-assistant claims 3 million in damages for unfair dismissal and sexual harassment.
