The man who played Adam, our favorite horseman, in “Sex Education”, celebrated his wedding by giving a special role to Alistair Petrie, who played his father in the series.

And yes! The actor behind the difficult to approach, but touching character that is Adam does not have loves as complicated as the one he plays in Sex Education! After being in a relationship for two years with his co-star, Aimee Lou Woods (Aimee in the series), Connor Swindells saw a flame ignite between the actress of Peaky Blinders He and Amber Anderson, and the two lovebirds just got married. They had originally met on the set of the film Emma and had stayed in touch, then a forced quarantine during the pandemic made them real friends, then great lovers.
We followed the emotional journey of Adam Groff in the popular British series, but this development would not have been the same without his difficult, but touching bond with his father, Michael (Alistair Petrie). It was therefore completely logical and natural that Alistair was the officiant of the happy ceremony.
Between some shots of the bride in her Vivienne Westwood dress and the sublime wedding in Scotland, we can see the performers Connor and Alistair in adorable candid moments, the latter even having worn the traditional kilt to preside over the union. It’s impossible not to see Adam and Michael in these photos, and we can’t help but see this as the ultimate happy ending we want for the two Groffs.
If only those who play our favorite TV characters could all do the same!
