Died following a brutal allergic reaction on the night of Thursday October 3 to Friday October 4, Michel Blanc will be buried this Thursday October 10 in Paris. His partner, Ramatoulaye Diop shared a wish for the ceremony.
The medical report is clear: Michel Blanc died from angioedema after a violent allergic reaction. No additional investigation was ordered by the prosecution, so the causes of the swelling in his throat will remain forever unknown.
The weekly “Marianne” established this observation in an article on Wednesday, October 8, reporting information from a hospital source: “We will never know,” the person interviewed then underlined that previously: “we will never know.” Autopsies were carried out frequently, with the scientific aim of determining the causes of death…”

“Joyful” funeral for Michel Blanc
Michel Blanc’s companion, Ramatoulaye Diop, however, would have informed those close to him – again according to journalist Laurent Valdiguié in the columns of “Marianne” – about the progress of the funeral. No tears, no silence, the stylist asked “the great family of French cinema” to pay tribute to her late companion with a “joyful” ceremony, like Michel Blanc.
A renowned actor and highly appreciated by the community, many guests are expected at the ceremony which will be held this Thursday, October 10 at 4 p.m., at the Saint-Eustache church (1st arrondissement of Paris). Among them, his friends from Splendid, all very touched by this unexpected loss.
