For its eighth edition, the circus festival Watch out for the gorilla in Pleumeur-Bodou has reached a new milestone. The organizers, the Carré Magique, wanted to give it a density worthy of a real festival. It’s won.

Since Wednesday afternoon, thousands of spectators have already been welcomed to the Phoenix pole site.

It’s a very good start, the public responded en masse. We are very happy.

The Ascension long weekend brings good luck to the festival. In eight editions, each time the weather has been good. This year, it’s summer. Enough to make the public want to also stroll between the shows around the activities for children, entirely vegetarian food stands and musical evenings after the shows.

Shows for all tastes

From mid-afternoon until midnight, the shows follow one another. Many performances are already sold out for the remaining two days of the festival. But some shows are open air and free.

Among the highlights, Peddlers under their big top offer an aerial and warm show. The Mesdemoiselles company offers a performance like a cry of joy in the open air and the Trégorrois du Little cirk present their hilarious duet A Dinner for One.

Without forgetting the introductions to circus arts.

Each evening ends with a different concert each day.
