Tyla, the star of South African music, has been making a big splash for several months now after being revealed to the public thanks to her hit Water.

“My parents didn’t want me to do music. They always wanted me to go to school because I was very intelligent.
I went to school, but every weekend I would sneak out to make music.
They were very angry with me and wanted me to do mining engineering, but when I released my first song and it attracted a lot of people, they decided to let me do music often.
When I won my first Grammy Award, they told me that I was now free to do whatever I wanted.
I took them to America for the first time and they saw me win my first Grammy.
It was one of the happiest times of my life and we party to celebrate it about 100 times”confided Tyla.
