On the occasion of World “Star Wars” Day on May 4, the Musée Cinéma et Miniature de Lyon (5th arrondissement) announced great news: the acquisition of one of the original helmets of the character Darth Vader in the episode V, The Empire Strikes Back.

It will be exhibited there from June 15, 2024. Something to make fans of the saga happy.

A masterclass from the sculptor

“Don’t miss this unique opportunity to discover this emblematic work of the history of cinema,” wrote the Musée du Vieux-Lyon on its social networks.

And to celebrate the arrival of this piece, Brian Muir, the original sculptor of Darth Vader’s helmet, will be giving an exclusive masterclass on June 15. “A first in France”, according to the cultural establishment, not a little proud of its announcements. Two times are announced, at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Signings and selfies will be part of the event. Tickets are online here.
