America’s favorite singer is everywhere. Already in the middle of touring for “The Eras Tour”, Taylor Swift will soon be the subject of a documentary produced by Warner Bros on her conflict with producer Scooter Braun, of Big Machine Records, reports the American media Variety.
Both have been at odds since 2019. The singer accuses the producer of having resold the rights to her first six albums for $300 million to an investment fund without her consent. She also claims she was prevented from purchasing her original recordings.
In June in the United Kingdom
In 2020, Taylor Swift found a solution: she re-recorded all of the songs concerned and added the name “Taylor’s Version”. An initiative that his fans massively supported and which was very noticed in the music industry, particularly by artists, who saw it as a way to regain power over their works.
This documentary will be titled “Taylor Swift vs. Scooter Braun: Bad Blood,” specifies the American media. Before the case of Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun, Warner Bros. depicted other iconic pop culture conflicts with “Johnny vs. Amber”; “Kim vs. Kanye: Divorce”; or “Vardy vs Rooney: The Wagatha Trial”.
The documentary will be divided into two parts, with two versions of the story. In the United Kingdom, the release is scheduled for June.
