After several years spent at Marodi where he produced emblematic projects such as GOLDEN, IMPACT, and KARMA, Elhadji Cissokho announces his departure from the famous production house. The director expresses his gratitude to his fans and colleagues while specifying that this departure marks the start of a new creative adventure. He promises to soon unveil new projects which he believes will continue to captivate the public.

“Dear friends, dear fans, dear colleagues,
It is with great emotion that I write these few words to you. After several incredible years spent at Marodi, where I had the honor of producing landmark projects like GOLDEN, IMPACT, and especially KARMA, it is time for me to turn a new page in my history.
Since my beginnings as a director, I have had the chance to work with talented teams, to meet inspiring people and above all, to feel all the support that you, the community, have continued to show me. Your passion, your encouragement, your messages, and your reactions have always been an immeasurable source of motivation for me.

Many of you have noticed my absence from Marodi’s recent projects. Your questions, your comments, and even your curiosity have not gone unnoticed. Today, I want to reassure you: my departure from Marodi is in no way an end, but rather the beginning of a new adventure.
By joining Marodi, my desire has always been to push content production in Senegal towards new horizons. It is this ambition that motivated me to join this structure, which was still in its infancy, and to take on numerous roles: Creative Director, Executive Producer, Director, Screenwriter, Show-runner and Artistic Director.

I had the opportunity to contribute significantly to the evolution of Marodi, by bringing working methods, training talented teams and instilling a more structured and ambitious production culture. Since Pod and Marichou Season 3 and GOLDEN, where it all really began, until today, I have accompanied this beautiful creative revolution.
However, this production culture, as innovative as it has been, has today reached its limits. My need to explore new perspectives leads me to turn to other horizons, where I can continue to defend a vision of content that is both entertaining, engaging and carries strong messages.
But rest assured, this is only the beginning! Very soon, I will reveal new projects, new productions which, I hope, will captivate you just as much as KARMA or IMPACT. These projects will be driven by the same passion that has driven me from the beginning, with renewed energy and even greater creative freedom.
Thank you for your loyalty, for your unwavering support, and for being an essential part of this journey thus far. I promise you, the best stories are yet to come.
