France Bleu Périgord partner of the 47th edition of the Bussière-Badil Ceramic Market

Demonstration, exhibition, workshop and modeling are taking place in Bussière-Badil from May 9 to 12, 2024. During the 4 days of the Ascension weekend, 45 ceramists are offering their works (decorative or utilitarian) for sale. Two guests of honor: Ule Ewelt and Bénédicte Vallet.

The Ceramic Market highlights what is most creative, most artistic and most accomplished in contemporary ceramics.
The Quatre à Quatre association welcomes a selection of 45 ceramists great talent for this new edition. ..

Bénédicte Vallet a designer mixing textiles and ceramics.
It will immerse us in a timeless universe, at the edge of plants, animals and minerals. Creator of “ceramic textiles”, she assembles her fragments of porcelain which have survived the ages with natural fibers. His works, as delicate as they are spectacular, will be revealed in all their dimensions during the exhibition which will be held in the Romanesque church of Bussière-Badil, at the same time as the Ceramic Market.

Ule Ewelt neo-Magdalenian ceramist will create a public sculpture during the weekend.
The artist will amaze the public with his know-how during the four days through demonstrations. An admirer of prehistoric artists, she captures, like them, the inner essence of the animals that she interprets with clay in order to capture a timeless, archaic movement.

The Quatre à Quatre association offers a demanding and innovative vision of an art always in motion to contribute to the discovery of contemporary ceramics in all its forms and to all audiences, such is the challenge that the association has taken on for forty-seven years.
