victim, the relationship with the law, the degradation of judicial and police institutions, the values of empathy, freedom…”, explain Mira Simova and Corinne Jacquet who play, direct and adapt this intense text by Jean Teulé. “Written for two men and a woman, we chose to adapt the novel to the stage by giving a female face to Lieutenant Pontoise. Our wish is to give substance to these two women, to defend their humanity and their complexity, their courage and their truth.”
This play brings together two actresses who always bring a complement of soul to their roles. Corinne Jacquet headed Cie Bille en Tête for a long time and Mira Simova distinguished herself in “23-F side portlot”, inspired by her departure from Bulgaria. They are now united in the Cie L’Audacieuse.
