Crozant. Paintings from the Crozant School at the Hôtel Lépinat museum. Each season, in Crozant, the participation of lenders, amateurs and collectors of paintings by painters from Creuse, as well as descendants of artists, enriches the exhibitions of the Hôtel Lépinat museum

New paintings take place every year in the rooms on the ground floor, where artists once gathered around the large fireplace. The paintings show famous motifs such as the Folie mill, the Crozant fortress, or others less known, like the Barrat mill that the painters Henri Pailler, or Eugène Alluaud immortalized before it disappeared under the Creuse, during the filling of the Eguzon dam.
