For his first attempt in the sprint slot, on April 15, this protégé of Edouard Monfort did not come out of the stalls very well before coming to create an illusion for the podium. He has now made his mark over this distance and seems able to shine in such a field. Excellent poker move.
Race analysis
Author of an encouraging start in the sprint, FORCHESTER (7) seems to have the necessary speed to quickly pin such a handicap to his record. Once again equipped with classic blinders, he can dominate WHISTLE AND FLUTE (10), the best score of the key race on April 15, PUREST TIME (2), on the rise, and WILD WEST (1), penalized by four kilos for his success in the Prix de Roissy. Well known at this level, RAYSTEVE (6) should quickly occupy the forefront and go far, especially as Mickaël Barzalona maintains his confidence in him. Recently noted in the South-East, HAYEJOHN (3) seems able to shine at this weight, it remains to be seen whether he will adapt to the rectilinear route. DENVER CHOP (5) and VICTORY SALUTE (4) have inherited an outside rope number but have the necessary means to secure a place in such company.
