The program of the 25th edition of the Féria de la Mer was presented to Palavas-les-Flots with a rich poster, like previous years, including two Spanish dance shows in a festive atmosphere. For 27 years now, the town of Palavas-les-Flots has organized this celebration of the bull.
From this Wednesday May 8 to Sunday May 12, the bull will be the center of all attention, with the city paying tribute to this powerful animal through numerous events. The arenas will stage Sunday May 12a bullfighting show, a Camargue race, from which the biou emerges unscathed.
During the presentation to the press of the program of these celebrations, a Sevillian dance opened the ball. Led by their teacher, the troupe of dancers kicked off the presentation of this Feria de la Mer. To the rhythm of finger snaps and Hispanic songs, the blue room came alive.
A flamenco show followed the association’s dancers. Accompanied by percussion and a guitar, the singer captivated the audience both with her singing and with her palmas. These hand claps help set the rhythm for the quartet. The dance movements made the floor of the building vibrate. Vibrations which will be confirmed this Wednesday in the seaside resort where the bull is king.
