Created in 2015, the association The Electric Sheep organizes cultural events and participates in several festivals. » This year, we are participating in Les Papillons de Nuit and then we will be going on tour for 12 dates until mid-October, all over France and in particular in Tours, Aurillac and Rennes. We will also be present at the Green River Valley Festivals in Vains and Dox’art in Hambye,” explains Justine Sorre, the vice-president.

For the third consecutive year, the group is reinstalling its electric village in Avranches. » It’s a day open to the public to present what we do through a small funfair created by our hands. There will be entertainment, games for children and concerts. Compared to last year, there will be something new: we want to work on the theatrical part to accentuate the audience’s immersive experience. There will always be the show side with characters from the village such as the mayor, the PMU manager, the priestess, the choir as well as a new feature: the festival committee. It is also the latter who will host the opening ceremony, Thursday at 2:30 p.m.

The electric village, which grows every year, attracted more than a thousand visitors last year. » The sun being out, there were a lot of people eating at the tables outside. We hope that it will be the same this year,” concludes Justine before specifying that “the public was invited to bring toys, board games and small trinkets to fill the gift cave in order to reward the winners of the different games offered during this day.

The refreshment bar and on-site catering will be provided by around twenty members of the association helped by 30 volunteers.
