Konscht am Gronn: a real open-air art gallery

A new season of Konscht am Gronn opened this Sunday in Luxembourg under anthracite skies, with the good humor characteristic of the event.

This Sunday, for the kickoff of the 2024 edition of Konscht am Gronn, the weather was not good, but art lovers and regulars of this monthly mini-festival in the Grund were well at ease. appointment. Every first Sunday of the month, from May to October, the small stone bridge which spans the Alzette, rue Münster, takes on the air of Montmartre to the delight of passers-by.

Before their eyes are displayed the original and astonishing works of local artists, such as Thomas Hoffmann and his collages inspired by street art (photo)Sébastien Shahmiri and his offbeat creations featuring classic portraits or Yves Géraud and his digital paintings.

In a more traditional style, visitors were able to admire the paintings of Nicole Gilles, Jean-Benoît Dominicy or Daniel Busato alias Mondane, all faithful to Konscht am Gronn. Comfortably lined up in their little camping chair along the bridge, facing the rare glimpses of the sun, the artists are especially happy to meet again and start a new season together in this emblematic place of the capital.
