SOS Méditerranée and Music without Borders

Agnes Defrance, representative of SOS Méditerranée, shared her experience in the theater and explained the vital mission of this organization. Since its creation, the association helped more than 40,000 people trying to cross the central Mediterranean, often at the risk of their lives. The spokesperson for the association underlines the importance of providing assistance to any boat in danger, in accordance with moral and maritime rights, in a region where dangers are omnipresent and migration routes among the deadliest in the world.

It is with the International Cultural Center of Music Without Borders that the music will also be present as part of this cycle. A multidisciplinary and multicultural team of artists, mediators and speakers run this center. Together, they have since led a cultural mediation actionand aim to promote world cultures across the artistic creation with the aim of developing the curiosity and the kindness towards the other.
