Descriptive text here

This month of May, Les Arts Lescuriens will honor an astonishing duo at the Saint-Michel church, with Brigitte Péchaire and Corinne Chauvet. Brigitte Péchaire is an abstract painter, gifted at harmonizing colors using successive flat areas. As for Corinne Chauvet, she is a figurative sculptor, inspired by the Asian faces that she appropriates during her travels to offer a vibrant sculpture. We will meet these two artists at the Saint-Michel church from May 11 to 20. They will welcome visitors from Monday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on weekends from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Brigitte’s abstract paintings will dialogue with the very present sculptures of Corinne Chauvet in this desecrated place which has kept its charm and its special light. Their sensibilities are a dream, and the opening at the end of the exhibition will take place on Saturday May 18 at 6 p.m.

Fair on May 8. The traditional May 8 fair organized by the Animation and Economic Promotion association, and of which this will be the 31st edition, is fast approaching. Market gardeners, horticulturists, and various exhibitors will be there again this year. Many activities are also on the program. They greatly appealed to visitors last year, including a group of majorettes, country dancing, and an exhibition of vintage vehicles, tractors, and tillers. On this occasion, the Com & Art association is announcing around sixty vintage vehicles, a very trendy and currently very popular attraction. Several catering areas will be available to the public to fully enjoy this day, a public who will also be able to discover where to rediscover the Saint-Michel church on the occasion of the start of the cultural season, with the first exhibition of the year dedicated to Lescurian artists.
