French actor Gérard Depardieu was summoned Monday morning to be placed in police custody, reports French media BFM TV. He would have presented himself at a Parisian police station to be heard regarding accusations of sexual assault made by two women.
Both accuse him of touching suffered on set. The first, a film decorator, evokes events which took place in September 2021 on the set of the film Les Volets vertes by Jean Becker. The second relates an attack allegedly committed on the set of a short film by Jean-Pierre Mocky, The Magician and the Siamese, in March 2014.
