Since the beginning of the year, the Amicale de la Vallée de l’Enne has punctuated the life of its association by offering gourmet and other activities in order to spend friendly moments between members.

“In January, faithful to tradition, we opened the ball of entertainment with a tasting at the restaurant “Le Racanel” in Rignac, of the emblematic “Estofinado”. There were 94 of us for this meeting and we did not have been disappointed,” President Michèle Joseph-Edmond recently began.

this gourmet stopover, at the end of March, from the 27th to the 30th, we participated in the “Spring Friendship Trip” organized by Ruban Bleu at the Colle Sur Loup, a Provençal village crossed by a rushing torrent named Le Loup,” continued Michèle Joseph-Edmond.

Four intense days, for the 24 members present with magnificent visits: perched village of Gourdon (nearly 800 meters above sea level), Saint-Paul-de-Vence, city of Arts and celebrities, , with its flower market, the Promenade des Anglais and the historic heart of this city with a rich past. But also and its unmissable 17th century Vauban ramparts, the Picasso museum, where this famous painter resided.

All accompanied by good and sublime landscapes, with exciting and passionate guides. These moments of sharing, cultural but above all festive and friendly, maintain the essential and positive social bond of seniors, people who are often alone and isolated.

On Saturday March 30, an outing was also organized in to attend the always extraordinary “ on Ice” show which dazzled the 24 participants.

The next meeting will be delicious. It is set for Tuesday June 18 in Combes. Like last year, it will be Jérôme Canredon who will be in the kitchen and who will surprise the taste buds.

To close this chapter of the first six months, the association and its president wanted to thank its members for their loyalty and “their growing number”.
