Summer will be splendid at the Joliette Art Museum!

Business partnership

Always popular, the Joliette Art Museum Day Camp (MAJ) is back in force this summer. From June 25 to August 16, our team of dynamic and enthusiastic animators offers eight weeks of varied artistic and physical activities for children aged 5 to 14.

Each week will be an event since every Friday will be thematic days where everyone will be invited to come in costume and the MAJ team will also be there. In addition, an opening will be organized every week to present the works created by the young artists.

An overview of the programming:

The Camp will kick off in a big way with an foray into the fascinating world of cinema’s most iconic villains! During this fantastic week, children will create an epic fresco featuring the most famous villains of the big screen. The summer will continue exploring the world of science fiction through the transformation of simple materials into three-dimensional robotic companions. The days will come one after the other, offering everyone creative workshops, visits to dynamic exhibitions, outdoor games, smiles, fun and lots of good memories!

“With our creative activities to develop skills and those more wacky ones to have fun and ventilate, free moments and structured games, we really touch on all aspects of child development. »

– Ariane Cardinal, education curator at MAJ
