A prestigious guest. Brigitte Macron was present at the Dior show for the opening of Fashion Week, Tuesday, September 24, at the Musée Rodin. The First Lady was accompanied by Delphine Arnault, the general director of the fashion house, as well as Queen Sonja of Norway. The three women made a furtive appearance in front of the photographers before attending the presentation of the new collection (spring summer 2025) imagined by the Italian designer Maria Grazia Chiuri.

Very loyal to Nicolas Ghesquière and the Louis Vuitton house, which her friend Delphine Arnault introduced her to during the 2017 presidential campaign, Brigitte Macron has repeatedly affirmed her love for fashion and Fashion Week. Last February, Emmanuel Macron’s wife made a remarkable appearance in a leather jacket at the French Fashion Institute, alongside Rachida Dati. In 2018, the First Lady also organized, with her husband, a reception for 100 French designers at the Élysée to “promote Paris’ place for creation.”

Total black look

To attend the new Dior show, Brigitte Macron wore black leather pumps with high heels and pointed toes, a black tailored jacket with a fairly tight cut and a skirt that fell just above the knee, just as she likes them. A look completed by the iconic Lady Dior bag, in a small format and carried by hand, which we had already seen on the arm of the First Lady, as well as a set of cultured pearls. And as for makeup, the former teacher remained faithful to her signature beauty look: complexion and lips made up naturally and a more emphatic look.
