“I was won over by the energy and young spirit of this group which is evolving at the highest level of Breton dance. I made a short video during the parade at the end of the day which reflects this dynamism. »

Gwenvaël Balnois, Komz Brezhoneg.

He published it on his Instagram account, and that of Kanfarded also relayed it:

This video is went viral ! “I think we will reach the million views on Instagram,” rejoices Gwenvaël Balnois.

Bell ringers and… a DJ!

For this competition, in which the wandering of the circles is noted, the Kanfarded have innovated by giving a electronic button to the music to which the dancers evolved. The bell ringers were accompanied by a DJ and a keyboard, mounted on a cart!

“The dancers had a blast and the audience was very receptive. In the crowded streets of Vannes, spectators clapped their hands, filmed with their cell phones, and a mass of people followed us until the end of the parade. »

Gwendal Barré, musical coordinator of the Kanfarded circle.

In the comments of the video, several Internet users asked forrecording the song. The musicians are working there this Friday, April 26. “We’re going to see if we can get it out there on platforms. If we reach a million views on the video, we will shoot a music video,” promises Gwendal Barré.

thing is certain: “It’s the first time we’ve worked with a DJ, but it certainly won’t be the last!” »
